Grape Agate from the Sulawesi in Indonesia. This fascinating and colorful botryoidal agate formation comes from the Jurassic age Curtis formation. The term botryoidal is from the Greek, meaning little grapes, and this piece sure does that description justice. It's got a beautiful presentation of "grapes" on either side, and is also polished to show the beautiful orbicular patterning in this delightful specimen. The only one I have for 2023!
