This is what happens when you leave a cat alone with a rainbow.
Nobody saw anything, of course. The sky is missing a few colors and there is a very pleased little creature sitting among your treasures, violet and blue and green slipping across its coat. It has the expression of a cat who has knocked something over in another room and is waiting for you to find it.
For the windowsill daydreamers, the collectors of small peculiar things, the people who stop mid-sentence because a cat has appeared. A little familiar from somewhere the rain falls in colors and every garden has a gate you probably should not open... so naturally, you do.
It followed you home. That is the story, and you are both sticking to it.
