What’s the difference between Chevron Amethyst and regular Amethyst you might ask? Great question!
First off it IS still Amethyst so a lot of the healing qualities are going to be similar. The mineral properties are similar, except there is a distinct difference in the patterning. In Chevron there is a distinct V pattern that runs through it separating the quartz from the amethyst quartz. In this sphere you can also see some of the iron coming through as well.
The difference in healing properties aren’t much. They are both associated with the upper chakra portion. Chevron in particular acts as bridge between the third eye and crown chakra. This stone is like a guardian and gatekeeper all in one. It wants to help you connect to your dreams and connect you to your higher self.
The iron in this particular piece…to me…also gives earthly support. Centered in this plane WHILE you tap in and float up! We are very important here so having a tether of sorts while you meditate or pray helps all that energy and information stay here in your sphere.
As above so below as below so above.
Meditating with this stone will increase the vividness and clarity of ones dreams and the imagery within. As the third eye sees these images, ones brain will be able to better understand what it means and the connection it has to your current life.
Like us Humans…this sphere is perfectly imperfect.
It is a bit rough around the edges as you can see in the close up pictures. Chevron is naturally more expensive than Amethyst, this stone is already discounted a bit for its roughness. I kinda like it like this. What a beautiful mirror to self!
Weird fact: Did you know this stone has also been referred to as Dog Tooth Amethyst? Interesting huh?
over 4 inches in diameter!
